David has a long history of advising families on financial and legal issues. With a unique background as an attorney, financial advisor, banker, and successful entrepreneur, he is uniquely suited to serve as your family’s Chief Risk Officer. Prior to co-founding INSight Capital, LLC, David was the co-founder and CEO of Sandhills Capital Partners, LLC, and Sandhills State Bank, with multiple branches located throughout Western Nebraska. A sixth-generation Nebraskan, David is an honors graduate of the Creighton University School of Law, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s College of Business. David also retired as a Captain, Infantry, after serving for a decade in United States Army Reserve. He and his wife, Kristine, reside in Lincoln, and have three adult sons — Jack, Charlie, and Thomas.
